God is holy.
We are sinners.

Because of pride, many people are not ready to admit their failures. Instead, many want to think of themselves as just fine the way they are. However, God’s Word clearly displays our true condition.

Romans 3:10 says, "There is none righteous, no, not one;" While we may try to live a good life, we all fail.

Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We all fall short of living up to the perfect holiness of God.

God is just.
We are guilty.

Sin must be punished. Because of His justice, God cannot overlook our sinful actions and thoughts. God always punishes sin and rewards righteousness.

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” The penalty God has chosen for sin is death—eternal separation from God in a place called Hell.

God is love.
Jesus died for you.

Jesus paid your penalty. Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth and lived a sinless life. And because Jesus loved you so much, He sacrificed His own life on the Cross for you. His death fulfilled the penalty for your sins.

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Do you realize how much God loved you? In His justice, God demanded death for your sins, but in His love, God’s Son died for your sins.

God is faithful.
In Christ, you can be forgiven.

God will forgive our sins when we place our trust in the work of Jesus on the Cross as the complete payment for our sins. But the good news doesn't stop there! Not only are we are forgiven of our sins, but we are invited into the family of God. Through Jesus, we are saved from the penalty of Hell and receive an eternal home in Heaven.

Romans 10:9 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Will you trust in what Jesus has already done for you?

God is ready. Are you?
If you are ready to place your trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, you may call out to God right now. There are no special words to pray. You simply must call out from a sincere heart.

Here is a sample prayer that may help you better understand how to call on Jesus for salvation: “Dear Lord, I confess that I am a guilty sinner and that I need to be saved. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay my sin debt and that He rose from the grave three days later. Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and save my soul.”
